Cookie Policy
Last updated: August 2026
This Cookie Policy explains what cookies and similar technologies are, which ones we use on the tunesenjoy.pt website, for what purposes, and how you can manage your preferences. It complements our Privacy Policy.
1. What are cookies and similar technologies?
Cookies are small text files that a website places on your device when you visit it. They help the site remember your preferences or actions during a visit or between visits.
Similar technologies include the browser's localStorage — a local storage mechanism with an equivalent effect to cookies for recording consent and preferences.
Law no. 41/2004 of 18 August (transposing the ePrivacy Directive 2002/58/EC) requires that you be informed and, unless the cookie is strictly necessary for the service to function, give your consent before any cookie or similar technology is placed on your device.
2. Cookies we use
2.1 Strictly necessary
These technologies are essential for the website to function correctly. They do not require your consent (Art. 5(3) of the ePrivacy Directive; Recital 25).
| Name | Type | Duration | Purpose |
|---|---|---|---|
tunes-enjoy-cookie-consent |
localStorage | 12 months | Records your consent choice (accept/decline analytics cookies) and the current policy version. Without this record, the cookie banner would appear on every visit. |
PHPSESSID |
Session cookie | Session (deleted when browser closes) | PHP session — used exclusively in the internal management area (back-office). Not placed for public site visitors. |
2.2 Analytics and performance
These cookies are only activated after your explicit consent. They allow us to understand how visitors interact with the website (pages visited, time spent, traffic source) in an aggregated and anonymised way. The information does not allow you to be directly identified.
Legal basis: Consent — Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR.
Google Analytics 4 (Google Ireland Limited)
| Name | Duration | Purpose |
|---|---|---|
_ga |
2 years | Distinguishes unique users; associated with your browser. |
_ga_XXXXXXXX |
2 years | Maintains Google Analytics 4 session state. |
_gid |

Google Analytics may transfer data to the USA under Standard Contractual Clauses approved by the European Commission. See Google's Privacy Policy.
2.3 Marketing and advertising
These cookies are only activated after your explicit consent. They allow us to measure the effectiveness of advertising campaigns on social networks.
Legal basis: Consent — Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR.
Meta Pixel (Meta Platforms Ireland Limited)
| Name | Duration | Purpose |
|---|---|---|
_fbp |
90 days | Identifies the browser for attributing conversions to Meta Ads campaigns (Facebook/Instagram). |
_fbc |
90 days | Records the last Meta ad click for conversion attribution. |
Meta may transfer data to the USA under Standard Contractual Clauses. See Meta's Privacy Policy.
2.4 Functional and security (third parties)
Cloudflare Turnstile
Our contact form uses Cloudflare Turnstile (Cloudflare, Inc.) as a protection mechanism against spam and automated bots, as an alternative to traditional CAPTCHA. Turnstile may place short-duration cookies on your device during the verification process. These cookies are strictly functional and are not used for advertising purposes.
See Cloudflare's Privacy Policy.
3. How to manage your preferences
3.1 Cookie banner
When you visit our website for the first time, a banner is displayed that allows you to:
- Accept all — activates analytics and marketing cookies.
- Reject all — only strictly necessary cookies are used.
- Manage preferences — allows you to enable or disable each category individually.
You can change your preferences at any time using the cookie button in the website footer.
3.2 Browser settings
You can also configure your browser to block, delete, or be notified about cookies. See your browser's instructions:
Note: blocking strictly necessary cookies may affect website functionality.
3.3 Withdrawal of consent
You can withdraw your consent at any time, with future effect, by clicking "Manage cookies" in the website footer. Withdrawal does not affect the lawfulness of processing carried out based on consent previously given.
4. International data transfers
Third-party cookies (Google and Meta) may involve transfers of personal data to countries outside the European Economic Area, namely the United States of America. These transfers are carried out under Standard Contractual Clauses approved by the European Commission (Implementing Decision 2021/914), which provide adequate protection guarantees.
5. Changes to this policy
We reserve the right to update this Cookie Policy whenever there are changes to the technologies used, applicable legislation, or our practices. The "last updated" date shown at the top of the document reflects the current version. In the event of significant changes, we will inform users through the cookie banner, which will request new consent where necessary.
